also known as Animal Sciences is a branch of biology that deals with the study
of animals, their classification, habitat, evolution, embryology, structure,
physiology and history. It is a vast field that covers the classification of every animal on

M.Sc.Zoology- Course details
Dolphin
College of Life Sciences and Agriculture offers a fully integrated Postgraduate
course in Zoology that focuses on fundamental topics related to zoology,
evolution, laboratory animal sciences and animal facility management. The
graduates who have passed Bachelor’s degree in BioSciences, Life Sciences,
Medical and Allied Medical Science and equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate
from recognized university are eligible to join this program. This 2-year
full-time program is divided into 4 semesters with each semester comprising of
various theoretical as well as practical subjects. At Dolphin College, Students
of this course will come across to the subjects like Genetics and Genetic
Engineering, Tissue structure, function and chemistry, a laboratory course,
cell and receptor biology, etc. Graduates and postgraduates in this field often
work in lab research and outdoor fieldwork.
