Dolphin
College of Life Sciences and Agriculture offers a fully integrated Postgraduate
course in Zoology that focuses on fundamental topics related to zoology,
evolution, laboratory animal sciences and animal facility management. The
graduates who have passed Bachelor’s degree in BioSciences, Life Sciences,
Medical and Allied Medical Science and equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate
from recognized university are eligible to join this program. This 2-year
full-time program is divided into 4 semesters with each semester comprising of
various theoretical as well as practical subjects. At Dolphin College, Students
of this course will come across to the subjects like Genetics and Genetic
Engineering, Tissue structure, function and chemistry, a laboratory course,
cell and receptor biology, etc. Graduates and postgraduates in this field often

M.Sc. Biotechnology - Course details
Dolphin(PG) College of Science and agriculture offers admission in the fully integrated program in Biotechnology, known as M.Sc. Biotechnology for the candidates who passed the Bachelor's degree in Sciences with subjects in the Life Sciences, Biological, Medical, Engineering, Food, Agriculture, Home Science and Medical Lab Technology are eligible. Even, the students having bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, and Chemistry with a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST students) are also eligible to get admission in this program. The duration of this course is 2 years which is further divided into 4 semesters. Each semester lasts for 6 months in which students have to clear theoretical subjects as well as practical sessions. During these 2 years, Dolphin College provides proper training and technical skill set required to train the graduates in the field of biotechnology. The graduates study the subjects like cell and molecular biology, biochemistry and biophysics, Microbiology, Analytical techniques and various other related subjects.
