BscHons agriculture is concerned with cultivation, processing, and marketing of
crops & livestock. This course will equip you with the academic knowledge
and practical skills suited to a range of agriculture and rural sector
employment opportunities. The specialization in agriculture has a strong focus
on the innovative use of technologies for higher productivity and optimal use
of natural resources. Hons agriculture degree is tailored to meet the changing
needs of the industry and is continually updated in consultation with our
industry advisers. Students of BSc Hons
will study the merits the challenges of different farm production systems,
explore the food chain, and will learn about the production of safe food in the
context of climate change, environmental protection, and livestock welfare.
Eligibility For This
Degree
Students
who have secured at least 50% marks of the aggregate marks in four compulsory
subjects that are Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Math and English took together at
10+21 pattern or equivalent examination from recognized Board/University will
be eligible to join the first semester of the course OR Intermediate/10+2 with
agriculture subjects. Dolophinelifesciences conduct entrance exam to get
admission to their B.Sc Hons Agriculture degree course. Students will select to
this degree course based on marks secured in the final merit that is total
marks aggregated in the final exams of 10+2 and the entrance exam.
